TELL-TALE PICTURES was created in 2025 by founders Carolyn McLeod and Matt Sheppard, who between them have over 30 years of film industry experience.

Carolyn McLeod CDG, CSA has been a freelance Casting Director for over 20 years, specialising in Film, Theatre and streaming content. She has worked with directors including Paul Schrader, Stephen Herek, Michael Caton-Jones, Roland Joffé and Sofia Coppola on Tv, independent features and projects for Netflix, BBC, Disney, Warner Bros, Hallmark, SyFy/NBC Universal and Paramount Global. She is a BAFTA, CDG and CSA member and is the winner of the BIFA 2021 Best Casting Award for Boiling Point. She was also a BAFTA Film Best Casting Nominee 2022 and a Casting Directors Guild Best Casting in an Independent Film Award winner 2023.

Matt Sheppard met Carolyn when he entered the world of Casting in 2018 first assisting Carolyn across many of her projects (including Boiling Point) and then for Jina Jay CDG, CSA. His feature film casting includes Think of England, and as casting associate on the Emmy Award winning African Queens.
